The security of your data is vital. We have all been made aware of incidents where data has been mishandled and breaches in security have occurred.
In an effort to ensure the security of your data when transferring the data to RevQ, or when we are transferring your data to you, RevQ is implementing a more secure transfer methodology.
Please review our new policy. If you have any questions regarding it please call or contact

- RevQ Data Transfer Security Policy -
When working with data and or database files, all sensitive files must be encrypted, compressed, and password protected prior to transmission to our Clients or to RevQ. RevQ will be using “7zip” as our standard product of choice when completing these tasks.
7zip is open source software and is free for RevQ and our Clients. It can be used on any computer. The product does not require registration. For additional information on 7zip and its features, please visit the products website by clicking the provided link. The software can be downloaded from the website as well. (www.7-zip.org.)
All RevQ employees working with Clients will have 7zip on their computers and will be required to use 7zip when transferring confidential government data information from RevQ to a Client. We are also asking Clients who send confidential government data information to load 7zip on a government computer in order to send your data encrypted to RevQ. RevQ has not had a breach of confidential data, but sees this as a necessary precaution to provide better protection for your data.
If you have a different secure method for transferring data between your government and a private sector partner, we will be happy to review your process and work with you as best we can.
Thank you for your efforts to help us.
