New features and enhancements include:
Account Tree
The new Account tree is a tool that allows you to navigate your data in a hierarchical tree. When added to the Debtor view, you can expand an Account to reveal the details of the associated Line Items and Victims.
Adjustment and Payment Changes
If you want to get rid of those zero balance Accounts that clutter up your payment or adjustment screen, we’ve added a setting that can mask them out and focus on the more active Accounts.
The problem of having a payment prior to receiving the Account for a Debtor has also been solved. Now you can post a payment without allocating to an Account, and then later allocate the payment.
Clickable Email Links
To simplify e-communication, now any email address stored with the Debtor may be clicked to launch your default email client.
Credit Card Processing Integration
For the OnPremises clients, we’ve added the ability to add credit cards to Debtors, and then use the card info to capture funds right within the payment screen.
Notes
We’ve added a number of improvements for Notes. To help avoid fast fingered mistakes, spellcheck has been added, you can now easily print the Notes, and we’ve added the ability to use a custom reference number for Debtors, Accounts, and Victims. To accommodate those of you who need the import notes, we’ve added that too.
Report
For this release, we’ve added two new reports. The Debtor Ledger Report is essentially a Debtor centric bank statement of sorts and displays all debits and credits at either the Account or Line Item level. The Login History Report shows all login and logout activity for your collectors within a date range you specify.
Security
In 8.0, we’ve given you the tools to lock things down to as granular a level as needed.
- Ability to set an inactivity timeout interval – This will lock the application if the collector has been away from Revenue Results for the specified time
- Ability to set a password expiration – This will prompt the collector to change their password based on the specified expiration period
- Ability to set a password history requirement – This will require that the collector not use the same password within the specified history period
- Ability to set the minimum password length
- Password complexity
- Ability to require a mix of UPPER and lower case letters in passwords
- Ability to require numbers in the password
- Ability to require special characters in the password
User Interface
In general, we made many improvements to the User Interface that makes up all of the screens you spend your day in.
- Template Editors – We’ve consolidated management of you templates into a unified WYSIWYG (What You See Is What You Get) editor. Now you can directly see what impact your design changes will have in real time.
- Custom Top Level Naming – Rather than taking our default naming scheme, you can now rename Debtor, Account, and Victim to match your nomenclature. So now if Offender is the lingo you use in the office for Debtor, it’s now what you can also see in Revenue Results
- Custom Logo Background – To help add some homey touches to the application, you can now have your custom logo for the Revenue Results background.
- Miscellaneous Indicators – In addition to making the Account List fields fully customizable, we’ve also added some helpful indicators that you can add. The Co-Responsible Indicator, at a glance, shows if an Account has more than one Debtor associated. The Payment Plan Indicator will show if an Account is currently part of a
