Scenic Towson and Baltimore beckon, and are rich in our nation’s history — an area certainly befitting the Government Collections Conference. We are pleased to be holding GCC East in the greater Baltimore region, home to one of our longtime clients, the State of Maryland.
Education Sessions
We've heard a strong interest from many of you on wanting to teach government collectors how to have "professional polish" and get the most from the human interaction. This year we have added additional classes to GCC East that specifically focus on collectors' interactions with people on the phone and in personal settings.
We are excited to announce that Nancy Bischoff and Dan Steinman will be presenting at this year's GCC, both of whom are steeped in government collections. Nancy brings with her numerous years of experience within the government collections industry, and Dan has a background running a multitude of collection agencies with government clients, addressing their specific needs. We are also pleased to announce Gary M. Sabean Sr., Deputy Treasurer Compliance Division from the County of Arlington and Bill Miller, Director of Operations, Collections Enforcement Ohio Attorney General will also be presenting at this years GCC.
There will also be a variety of classes on RPCS and some of the basic features of this software. These classes will be augmented by the post-conference RPCS classes put on by our own Vice President of Client Support, Mitch Taylor, who makes any class memorable. With Mitch as the trainer, you are sure to enjoy learning something new!
RevQ's newest product, Revenue Results, will be highlighted as well. This newest debt collection software has received a considerable amount of attention in the industry recently, as a host of governments are currently implementing Revenue Results. Many of the features of this software will be explored and discussed in greater detail.
Networking Opportunities
As always, one of the greatest benefits our attendees have mentioned is the ability to network with those in the government collections industry. Currently, there are a limited number of venues government collections professionals have to learn how to do it right and how to do it better.
