GCAT Helps Courts With Debt Collection
September 17-19, 2006 • Las Vegas, NV
RevQ has worked with GCAT (Governmental Collectors Association of Texas) since its inception in 1999. It is a great organization to work with and has provided a good foundation for increasing awareness in the national government debt collection arena.
There has been an ever-increasing interest from the people in Texas to be the best in collecting the debt owed to the courts. Nadine Jenkins, current president of the association, and Jim Lehman, of the Texas Office of Court Administration, both GCAT founders, have been driving forces in making this a great organization.
GCAT decided to branch out of Texas and put on a National Court Collections Conference (NCCC) so they could bring together collections professionals from both public and private sectors to exchange ideas, technologies, and tools to improve court collections. RevQ is co-sponsoring this conference which will be held in September. This is a perfect opportunity for RevQ to increase the awareness of the importance of government agencies to improve debt collection processes.
