System Requirements

Technical Solutions and Requirements

RevQ products can be used in two technical environments: the Stand Alone environment and the Software as a Service (SaaS) environment.

SaaS

This Software as a Service environment allows a user to log onto the database that is housed in a secure environment connected over the internet. This option requires the government to have only a user workstation that has access to the internet. RevQ takes care of security, database, disaster recovery, back-ups and other technical issues.

Stand Alone

The Stand Alone environment is the more traditional environment of using a dedicated server located within your government network. The terminology, "Stand Alone," has reference to your database being housed on a separate database server within the confines of your government agency network.
